The vineyard

The vines between the ages of 15 and 50 years are all on hillsides or plateaus with different orientations, South, South-East, North-East and isolated from other farmers by moors and scrubland. The grape varieties grown are: Merlot, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet and Chardonnay.

The land

The soil is made up of a mass of more or less cemented poudingues, decomposed sandy molasses (soft sandstone) that gives a sablo-limono-argilo-limestone soil on which the produced wine has proven to be full-bodied, solid and at the same time fruity and with a pleasant bouquet.

Farming method

The vines are worked under organic farming conditions (ECOCERT certifier), no insecticides and little or no ploughing. One in two rows is under grass to enrich the soil with organic matter, to avoid erosion during heavy rains and to maintain biodiversity. Organic farming is the first step. To show even more respect for the land and the living, biodynamic cultivation is envisaged in the short term.
